Here's a great way to use your website to earn a little cash, without bothering your viewers with ads!
First- join a simple traffic program. nuclearhits.com/
I've tried a lot and that place works great.
2 - Join an ad company.
www.paypopup.com/
This is what I use, and they are good to me so far.
3 - Create a new page on your site with very little content (like a welcome page). Place your ad in this page, and submit THIS url to the traffic generators.
Done! All your regular viewers will never see that welcome page, and never be bothered with the ad. About 25% of the traffic generator traffic will see the pop-up, and won't hog your bandwidth.

Re: a penny for your thoughts
Thu, October 16, 2003 - 6:53 AMIf you find the ad company is not working or you dont like it, try this one: popinads.com/pubsignup.php
It makes a pop-in which stays inside your window. -

Re: a penny for your thoughts
Fri, October 17, 2003 - 9:22 AMPop Up ads are one of the most annoying ways to advertising on the internet. I would never allow the company I work for to allow pop up ads on our website or advertise with pop up ads.
Besides, most people use pop up blockers anyhow. -

Re: a penny for your thoughts
Sat, October 25, 2003 - 9:42 AMI, too, see far fewer popups these days. I suspect popups are on the way back to becoming used mainly by disreputable advertisers, though some well-known companies are still buying them.
